Free US Exchanges
At Maison Mikumo, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you're not completely happy with your order, you may initiate an exchange request within 7 days of receiving your order. Please send an email to hello@mikumoapparel.com with your order number, reason for exchange, and any relevant details.
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a shipping label and return mailing instructions. You will have 14 days from the receipt date to ship the product(s) back to us. Please make sure the product(s) are in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, with all tags intact, and in the original packaging.
US customers are entitled to one free exchange per order. You can return as many items as you like at once, but if you wish to request additional exchanges/returns on the same order after the first exchange, a restocking fee of $12.99 will be incurred for each subsequent exchange/return. This helps our small business reduce but not eliminate losses from back and forth shipping costs. Canadian and international customers will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the returned product(s) are received and inspected for compliance with our return policy. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account. You may also request a refund in the form of store credit, which will be credited to your account immediately.
In the case of exchanges, once the returned product(s) are received and inspected, the replacement item(s) will be shipped to you at no additional cost for the first exchange on an order.
Please ensure that you provide accurate shipping information when initiating a return request, as we are not responsible for any delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping details.
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at hello@mikumoapparel.com with your order number and details of the issue, and we will work with you to resolve it promptly.
We reserve the right to refuse any returns that do not comply with our return policy.

Step-by-step exchanges guide:
1) To initiate an exchange request, please e-mail us at hello@mikumoapparel.com with your order # with the words "exchange request" in the subject line.
2) If your request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Please maintain the original shipping packaging, as it is designed to be reused for exchanges. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
3) Once the returned item is received, the replacement package will be sent out to the address on file unless otherwise specified.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
